TV Bank being developed in Shenzhen - Guangdong - News Brief

Shenzhen plans to open the first TV bank service in China, which allows TV users to handle bank accounts through a remote control. The TV bank system will be installed through a digital-TV network and combine bank card and set-top box technologies.

Audiences can have access to their bank card information and carry out transactions including paying for, buying or selling securities through a remote control. The developer said that TV bank is safer than the Internet as it avoids attacks from hackers.
