Starting March 2nd, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and Xinghai Concert Hall will jointly organize a series of concerts and performances in Guangzhou. University students in Guangzhou will be able to enjoy 10 concerts with lectures at no charge.
According to the organizer, the concerts will last until March 16th. Artists' performance will include different kinds of famous orchestral pieces including sinfonias, waltzes, marches and serenades in 10 key universities. This event is proposed by secretary of Guangdong CPC committee Zhang Dejiang. It aims to promote music art and improve appreciation levels among students.
