By 10 pm February 24th, the forth session of tenth NPC Guangdong committee had received 18 proposals, far less than last year's 265. The reason is due to the session's higher requirement for proposals. The submitted proposals regard issues including food safety and medical services.
In addition, many deputies submitted suggestions instead of proposals and thus the session had received 570 suggestions by 8 pm last night, far more than last session's 375. Suggestions cover the fields of environmental protection, economic development and rural construction. The total number of proposals and suggestions is at par with last year.
