The Consulate General of Mexico in Guangzhou officially opened yesterday afternoon (February 22). The Vice Minister of Mexican Foreign Affairs and Guangdong Government vice Secretary-General Liu Youjun made speeches at the opening ceremony.
Other officials, including the Ambassador of Mexico to China Sergio Ley Lopez, attended the ceremony. The Consulate General of Mexico in Guangzhou is located in Room 1402 of the Metro Plaza in Tianhe Bei Road. Before the opening ceremony, Guangdong Executive vice Governor Tang Bingquan met with the Mexican delegation.
During their meeting, the Vice Minister of Mexican Foreign Affairs expressed a wish to launch a direct flight from Mexico to Guangzhou to facilitate mutual communication.
