14 companies in Guangzhou were recently awarded the title of water-saving companies, according to information with the Bureau of Urban Utilities and Landscaping of Guangzhou Municipality.
Guangzhou launched a campaign to urge companies to adopt a water-saving operation mode. Companies using over 3,000 cubic meters of water a day should take the Water Balance Test, as to increase the company's water use efficiency and improve water conservation management.
Guangzhou government will also raise the awareness of saving water among the public and introduce water-saving devices.
