The 8th Chinese Returned Students Guangzhou Scientific Exchange Fair opened yesterday (Dec. 28th) in Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Over 1,550 returned students attended the fair to seek jobs among the over 10,000 job opportunities. They could also compete for chance to cooperate with domestic companies and work on 14 scientific projects provided by the companies.
In addition, some returned students brought 800 high-tech scientific projects, in hopes of finding project sponsors. Unlike the previous sessions, this session of the fair limits most of the entrants to those who have had work experiences in overseas research institutions and overseas companies, research and development departments.
The Chinese Returned Students Guangzhou Scientific Exchange Fair was first launched in 1998. Many returned students, domestic companies, institutes, universities and government departments benefited from the previous sessions of the fair.
This year, the fair will conclude Dec. 30th.
