The renovations on Guangzhou railway station waiting rooms have been completed. It is expected that all renovations at the Railway Station will be finished before the Spring Festival travel season.

Guangzhou railway station is getting a makeover. The railway station is being coated with aluminum alloy walls and green glass. The white framed blue big bell facing the railway plaza is being replaced with a bell that matches the renovated railway station. It shines at night and guarantees to report the correct time by receiving a satellite time signal.

In addition, new customer-friendly facilities are installed. Passengers, who wait in the warm, sound-proof waiting rooms, can enjoy the six automatic escalators and watch TV. The new station also makes understanding to the passenger the departure and arrival times easier, by viewing and following the new easily-seen departure and arrival instructions.
