First Annual Lunar Chinese New Year Flower Market Planned - Guangdong - News Brief

The 2006 Lunar New Year is approaching. Guangzhou citizens can tour a new flower market during the Spring Festival holiday. Guangzhou¡¯s Tianhe district plans to hold its first annual Lunar Chinese New Year flower market in Tianhe Stadium. The flower market will be open three days starting from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. January 26th to 27th 2006 and 8a.m. January 28th till 2 a.m. As a measure to attract visitors, Tianhe¡¯s flower market will introduce some large flower companies, botanical research institutes and brand name planting bases to exhibit their latest flowers and fruits.
