China Southern Airlines began to sell tickets for chartered flights from Guangzhou to Taiwan during the upcoming Spring Festival on the Internet. The first-class single ticket costs RMB2880, RMB 3950 for return ticket, and the business-class fares are RMB 1600 and RMB 2200 respectively.

A majority of the flights will run on Jan. 25th-27th and Feb.2nd-5th, 2006. Charter flight CZ3097/8 from China Southern Airlines will take off from the Guangzhou airport at around 8 a.m. and touches down at about 9:27 a.m. in Taipei. The return flight then departs form Taipei at 12:30 p.m. and arrives Guangzhou at 14:00 p.m. in the same day.

The airline, has arranged a Boeing-777 with 24 first-class seats and 352 business-class ones, to fly between Guangzhou and Taipei.

Apart from Taiwan businessmen and their families, Taiwan residents holding legal certificates will also be allowed to take the flights.
