Zhanjiang offer cost-saving medical service - Guangdong - News Brief

Zhanjiang hospitals and pharmacies started to offer cost-saving clinic service and low-price medicines earlier this year. And now it will cost a patient with a cough less than 15 yuan to see a doctor and buy the medicine. The low-prices service win applause from the local citizens, especially those with low income.

Up to 68 hospitals in the city set up 141 such clinic rooms in this year, and the pharmacies offers over 370 kinds of cheap tablets and 380 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine. The prices of over 280 kinds of medicines are below ten yuan.
