Chinese and Russian business leaders on Wednesday vowed to further cooperation, especially in investment, machinery, R&D and project contract aspects.

In a China-Russia business chamber meeting held in Moscow on the sideline of the "Year of China in Russia", participants from machinery, aviation, metal refining, finance, high-tech, telecommunication, transportation and agricultural sectors exchanged views on future cooperation.

They agreed to enhance information exchange, host regular trade fairs and promotion events.

Trade between Russia and China has maintained a rapid growth rate for eight consecutive years, reaching 33.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2006. It was expected to reach 60 billion to 80 billion dollars by 2010.
