China Southern Airlines and China Airlines recently established a cooperative flight operations agreement to provide more convenient flight services for passengers traveling between 8 mainland cities and Taiwan's Taipei, Gaoxiong.

The 8 cities are Guangzhou, Beijing, Zhengzhou, Haikou, Sanya, Wuhan, Kunming and Xiamen. Passengers can enjoy much lower prices than before if they fly on a coop flight. In addition, passengers from Guangzhou can get boarding passes for all transfer flights upon departure, and have their baggage checked in all the way to their final destination. Moreover, airline miles are now transferable between the two airlines when traveling on these selected flights. China Southern Airlines operates 5 daily flights from Guangzhou to Hong Kong and 17 cooperative flights between Hong Kong and Taiwan.
