95% oppose Japan's bid for UNSC seat: CNN survey
Latest Updated by 2005-04-14 09:15:57

The quick vote by CNN shows that 95% respondents oppose Japan's bid for a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council.

The question is "Do you think Japan should become a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council?"

By 14:00 pm, April 13, 2005 (Beijing Time), 1,559,101 people have voted, among which 1,487,225, or 95%, clicked "No".

CNN declared that its quick vote is not a scientific survey but only reflects the opinion of those Internet users who had chosen to participate. The results can only be assumed representing the view of Internet users in general, but not the public as a whole.
