China, Japan hold security consultation

Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Chinese People's Liberation Army Xiong Guangkai held in Beijing Thursday a security consultation with Moriya Takemasa, permanent vice-minister of Defense Agency of Japan.

This is the sixth security consultation between the Ministry of National Defense of China and the Defense Agency of Japan.

The two sides exchanged views in depth on issues of shared concern including international and regional security situation, defense policy, bilateral relations and Sino-Japanese defense exchanges.
