Mexico's Davis Cup tennis team arrived in Peru's capital Lima on Monday to face its Peruvian counterpart for one of the America's play-off places to qualify for the Davis Cup's World Group.

The following teams Santiago Gonzalez, Daniel Garza, Juan Manuel Elizondo, Antonio Ruiz Rosales and Cesar Ramirez – arrived alongside Francisco Maciel, president of the Mexican Tennis Federation, and Oscar Ortiz, who is both captain and coach.

Peru and Mexico will compete on the clay courts of Asia, a resort town 100km south of Lima, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Peruivan team is made up of Luis Horna and Ivan Miranda, lead players; Matias Silva and Mauricio Echazu, reserves; and captain Jaime Yzaga.
