Arsenal striker Thierry Henry suffered another injury setback after recovering to substitute on for Wednesday's Champions League tie against PSV Eindhoven.
The French international only came on as a second-half substitute after back to the field from the foot and hamstring problems that have dogged him all season, and suffered stomach and groin injuries during the match.
"My thinking was he was not ready to start the game because he got injured," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told the club's website. "Again now he is out for a few weeks.
"It is a different injury, his stomach muscle and his groin. It is a very difficult season for him."
Arsenal drew 1-1 with PSV at the Emirates Stadium to come the only England club, out of four, failing to make the Champions League quarterfinals after losing the first knockout-round tie 2-1 on aggregate.
They were knocked out of the FA Cup by Blackburn Rovers last week and now lie fourth in the Premier League table, 20 points behind leaders Manchester United.
