International Federation of PGA Tours said on Tuesday that the 2007 and 2008 World Golf Championships (WGC)-World Cup will be held at the Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen, China.
The venue will also stage a WGC event every year after that until 2018.
"We are delighted to announce the WGC-Mission Hills World Cup for the next two years and look forward to working with Mission Hills Golf Club in staging a World Golf Championship event China for many years," said PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem in a statement.
It will be the first time that a WGC event takes place in China. Shenzhen had hosted the 1995 World Cup, which was won by American duo Fred Couples and Davis Love III.
The 2007 World Cup will be played from Nov. 22-25 on the Jose Maria Olazabal-designed Olazabal Course at Mission Hills, while the 2006 event will be hosted by Sandy Lane Resort in St. James, Barbados from Dec. 7-10.
