Andy Roddick, James Blake and twins Mike and Bob Bryan will play for the United States in its Davis Cup semifinal tie with Russia later this month.

Roddick and Blake, both ranked in the top 10 and still alive at the U.S. Open, will play the singles matches. The Bryan brothers will play doubles.

This same quartet already won two Davis Cup ties earlier this year, topping Romania, 4-1, in the first round and Chile, 3-2, in the quarterfinals.

"We are looking forward to playing in the semifinals against a tough Russian team," said U.S. Davis Cup captain Patrick McEnroe in making the announcement on Tuesday.

"It will be a challenge, but we hope to repeat the great performance the U.S. had in the 1995 final the last time we played on Moscow on clay."

The United States has won 31 Davis Cup titles -- most of any nation -- but hasn't captured the crown since 1995 in Moscow.

Moscow's Olympic Stadium will be the site for this year's tie, which will be staged indoors on red clay from September 22-24.

Russia's team will consist of two-time Grand Slam champion Marat Safin, Nikolay Davydenko, Dmitry Tursunov and Mikhail Youzhny.

The Russians haven't beaten the Americans in Davis Cup play. The only other meeting, aside from the 1995 final, came in the first round in 1998 when Jim Courier beat Safin in the fifth and deciding rubber.

This year's winner will advance to the final in December against the winner of the other semifinal between Argentina and Australia.
