Australian Lleyton Hewitt survived a marathon match, beating South Korean Lee Hyung-Taik in five sets at the Wimbledon tennis championship on Friday.
The sixth seed Hewitt broke Lee's service in the 10th game of the fifth set to savor a 6-7 (4), 6-2, 7-6 (6), 6-7 (5) and 6-4 victory in a match lasted three hours and 55 minutes from Thursday night interrupted at the end of the fourth set.
Hewitt failed to capitalize on three break points on Lee's serve in the second game of the fifth set as the Korean saved all.Yet, Lee still handed Hewitt the victory with a forehand into the net at 4-5.
