Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem was suspended by NBA for one game without pay for throwing his mouthpiece at an official.
Haslem was ejected in the second quarter of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against the Chicago Bulls for throwing his mouthpiece in the direction of referee Joe Crawford. Miami won the game 111-106.
Haslem was going for a rebound and got tangled up with Chicago's Andres Nocioni under the Bulls' basket with 4:11 left in the half. Haslem tumbled to the floor, and obviously upset a foul wasn't called, removed his mouthpiece and threw it at the legs of Crawford.
Crawford immediately called a double-technical on Haslem, who was sent to the tunnel leading to the locker room.
Haslem will miss Game 2 of the series on Monday night.
