Chinese diving unveiled a 13-member strong squad on Tuesday it will take to the FINA (The International Amateur Swimming Federation) World Championships to be held this month in Montreal, Canada.
Having six Olympic gold medalists such as Guo Jingjing and PengBo included in the squad and the likes of He Chong and Jia Tong, who had shown their capabilities in this year's FINA Diving Grand Prix series, Zhou Jihong, manager of the Chinese diving team believed that it could be a fresh and old combined line-up to realize "double win".
"On one hand, we have the ability to strive for good results inthe World Championships. On the other hand, we are aiming to solidify the reserve force for the 2008 Beijng Olympics," Zhou said.
