Biaggi pledge fitness for 2005 MotoGP season

Former 250cc world champion Max Biaggi said he would recover in time for the 2005 MotoGP world championship season despite breaking his left leg in a training accident last month.

The Italian said he will return to action at the end of January when the first official test of the season which is scheduled for Sepang in Malaysia.

The Honda team rider believed he was able to make it.

"No one can tell me when I'll be able to ride but, trust me, January 23rd I will be in Malaysia, just to taste the new bike," he said.

Biaggi finished in third place in the 2004 season behind champion Valentino Rossi and runner-up Sete Gibernau.
