The French International Music Festival held at Ershadao, Guangzhou on Sep 13 proves to be a successful event.

Organized by France Consulate General, the Alliance Francaise and Lyon municipality, it is the first time this kind of open air music event being held in Guangzhou.

The theme of this year's music festival is Rock and Roll, with the performers such as Wei, Next Station, Garage, Wang Lei's Pump band, and the fantastic DJ Alex Da and High Tone from France. This feast of music includes R&B, Pop, Electro and, of course,Rock and Roll, with DJ Alex Da's Jungle music, High Tone's Dub and Wang Lei's heavy electro hard rock being the highlights of the night.

Starting from 1 pm, this music relay lasts for 10 hour till 11 pm, warming people up for the festival weekend and hopefully helping them hold onto the magic for a few extra day.

An atmosphere of fervor dominates the scene --- people listenning , dancing under the stars, sharing the compassion with the musician, relaxing and enjoying the music and each other. you will then understand the definition of a festival --- A fstival is much more than the music,a festival is dancing, a festival is people, a festival is fun! In an all-too-digital world that's changing quickly, the Festival is a chance to get back in touch with the spirit that music can invoke and inspire.

That will be a day to remember and dream on, again and again -- So let us look forward to the next one coming annually.
