Guangdong cities win green honour(Mar.27)
 The State Environmental Protection Administration has named the cities of Zhaoyuan and Huizhou in South China's Guangdong Province "model cities" of environmental protection.
It said special inspection teams visited the two cities late last year and were satisfied with their efforts and achievements in the field of environmental protection.
The two cities adopted active measures to protect the local environment and drafted clear blueprints for the cities' future environmental layout. There are now 24 cities across China that have been named environmental-protection model cities.
