FIVE-STAR Crowne Plaza hotel is hosting a variety of fresh dining and entertainment features.
An Italian food festival began Friday and will run through Oct. 1.
With a festive redecoration featuring colored masks, clowns, copies of Italian landmark sculptures, a gondola, snack carts and other Italian cultural icons, you will feel as if you are somewhere in Italy with Napoli music filling your ears after entering the hotel.
Among the pastas, wines, breads and pasteries you will be able to find a wide variety of Italian specialties. "What matters most is the Italian food here tastes the most authentic in town," said an Italian diner, Roberto Cucino.
Recently introduced into Crowne Plaza's V-Bar is Nino & Hotshots, a highly talented and versatile band comprising of Latin and Filipino musicians.
Beginning Tuesday, V Bar will be serving fresh oysters. A chef will be stationed at the counter located near the pool-bar terrace to prepare guests orders. There will be five different types of oysters from Australia, America, France, Ireland and Canada. The oyster counter will operate from every Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.
