The Guangdong Testing Center announced on March 3 that, from March 39 to April 20, students from Hong Kong and Macao can sign up for the joint university entrance examination conducted by institutions of higher learning on the Mainland.

Students who pass the exam can study on the mainland. The examination is different from the normal entrance exam for mainland students and will take place between June 24 and 26.

Overseas Chinese students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can apply for the examination in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Fuzhou and Xiamen. Students can apply in person, through the Internet or by mail.
