A number of websites have started claiming their magical ringtone can help women achieve a desirable bosom, thanks to the stimulating sound waves emitted by the tone. High school students are also adopting the trend.

The ringtone was created in Japan and Chinese scientists have dismissed its claims, saying they have no scientific basis and may even damage women's health if used blindly.

Yang Jianbao, an expert from the Nanchang University hospital said breast size is determined by genetics and hormones. Music that invokes thoughts of love could be useful, but the popular ringtones are just mainly noise and unlike to have any effect.
