Culture relics from Sichuan, Hong Kong and Jiangxi arrive in Guangdong to join the upcoming PPRD (Pan Pearl River Delta) Culture Relics Exhibition. Two precious pieces from Sanxingdui ruins, Sichuan, are the most eye-catching.
The relics from Sanxingdui are famous at home and abroad for their elegance, peculiar shape and mystique. The ruin is located in the city of Guanghan, 40 km from Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Many ancient art pieces unearthed here are obviously different from those found in Yangtze River area. The man-shape art pieces are with western-style.

A Bronze Mask from Sanxingdui
The mask in the picture, for example, with big eyes and high nose, looks like a western man. The most mysterious finding is a gold scepter which was usually owned by western royal families. These myths make the ruin more attractive.
The PPRD Culture Relics Exhibition will begin at the end of this month.
