About 80 percent of exhibition booths in Hall A of the China Hi-Tech Fair Exhibition Center have been booked for the First International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF) to be held in Shenzhen from Nov. 18 through 22, said organizers.
As a big stage showcasing industry enterprises and their products, Hall A is expected to become a grand parade of China's digital television (DTV) industry in the 2004 ICIF. Many renowned Chinese and international Internet operators, equipment suppliers, program suppliers and satellite TV stations have been invited to set up booths in Hall A while professionals in national and local radio, TV and film industries have been invited to visit the fair to seek opportunities for cooperation.
Organized by Shenzhen Top way Advertisement Co. Ltd., the DTV exhibition will occupy an exhibition area of 11,000sqm. It will cover almost every sector of the DTV industry.
Close attention will be given to hi-fidelity DTV (HDTV) programs and equipment to be displayed in the DTV exhibition, offering selections of animated cartoons and Internet games, said organizers.
As the front line of China's reform and opening policy, Shenzhen is among the country's first cities to implement DTV experiments. In addition, Shenzhen has started to test-run HDTV since last October. Its huge demand for rich and various programs is obvious, said organizers.
So far, the well-known international and national brands that have registered include Sony, Panasonic, Konka, Skyworth, China Beida Founder, Disney, AXN, Phoenix TV, Star TV, Sun TV, Dragon TV and China Poly Group Corporation.
