Two Hollywood movies, Teenage Mutant Nanja Turtles and Shooter, will be released in China in May after receiving approval from the State Administration of Radio Film and Television.

TMNT are no stranger to Chinese audiences, especially those under the age of 30. The justice-fighting turtles have been shown on Chinese television and featured in computer games for years.

The producers, Warner Bros., is hoping for big box office results in China after hiring Chinese star Zhang Ziyi to provide the voice for one of the characters.

The action flick Shooter, tells the story of a U.S. army sniper who gets into trouble with his government.

Two other Hollywood movies are also hoping to hit the Chinese market in May. Spiderman 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 3 are hoping to receive approval from the state administration by mid-April.
