TICKETS for the Second China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF) went on sale Thursday (Apr 20), the organizers announced.

General admission is priced at 50 yuan (US$6), while entry to the cartoon animation hall costs 20 yuan to draw younger visitors, the organizers said.

Both kinds of tickets are available on the Web site of the fair, www.cnicif.com, through the hotline 95599 and at Agricultural Bank of China outlets. Bank customers will also get discounts of between 10 and 20 percent if they buy it from the bank.

The ICIF, to be held from May 18 to 21, is the only international cultural fair in China.

The fair will cover 105,000 square meters with 4,500 booths, and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center will serve as its main venue. The fair will also hold events at Buji's Dafen Oil Painting Village and other areas.

The latest achievements in the sector will be on display and experts from the fast-growing cultural industry will have an opportunity to meet and exchange their experiences.

It will also hold trade fairs on the latest cultural achievements and award innovative cultural products.
