NEW Concept Mandarin (NCM), one of the leading providers of language and cultural training in Shenzhen, announced its plans to expand its business in Europe by appointing Heinrich Pletschacher as European section manager.
NCM has acquired a reputation over the years among human resources departments of many international companies such as IBM and Vodafone. Before being sent to work in China, managers and specialists of these companies are required to learn how to make themselves understood, as well as to how to act properly. For example, in China, a business card is supposed to be presented with both hands.
Pletschacher said that, in the near future, customers would be able to arrange their employees to take NCM courses in the United Kingdom, Spain or elsewhere in the northern European region, where their company headquarters are located. In order to launch the project at the earliest date, NCM is flying teaching staff to Europe from Asia.
In the long run, NCM is considering franchising its service and products and establishing close business relationship with trade fair organizations, which have important economic ties with the Far East.
