An exhibition entitled The Sun King Louis XIV: Exhibition from the Palace at Versailles will be held at the Palace Museum from the May 1 to July 31. 
An exhibition entitled The Sun King Louis XIV: Exhibition from the Palace at Versailles will be held at the Palace Museum from the May 1 to July 31.

The exhibition will be held at the newly renovated Meridian Gate, known as Wu Men, the south entrance of the Forbidden City.

The exhibition from Versailles comprises 84 masterpieces from the reign of Louis XIV (1661-1715), supplemented with sixteen objects from the Palace Museum that reflect cultural exchanges between the two countries during the reign of the Sun King.

This is also the first exhibition to be installed in the great Throne Hall of the Meridian Gate following its renovation.
