"Sparkling Tianhe" Cultural and Arts Festival, sponsored by the Tianhe District Culture, Radio, TV and Press Administration Bureau, will last 10 months. To highlight the festival's international nature, in each of the 10 months, artists from different countries will be invited to present artistic performances and conduct cultural exchanges.

In addition to performances by international artists, organizers will present a wide variety of community cultural events, including community square dancing performances, Guangdong opera performances, and calligraphic and painting exhibition.

April 13, 2007 - Trumpet and Piano Duo, of the UK (Paul Archibald and Juliet Edwards);

June 29, 2007 - Jose Luis Altamirano of Mexico, a Piano Recital;

July 29, 2007 - Ingrid Marsoner, Austria a Piano Recital;

August 31, 2007 - Jose Enrique Bagaria Villazan Piano Recital, Spain;

September 23, 2007 - Roberto Prosseda Piano Recital, Italy;

October 28, 2007 - Vienna Masters' Piano Trio Concert;

November 11, 2007 - Trio Matisse, Italy

December 9, 2007 - Gordin Piano Recital, Russia

June 9, 2007 - Long Yunnan, Unconventional Solo Dance;

Please note that the venue can only accommodate an audience of 200. Each concert during the Cultural and Art Festival is an elegant recital. Admission is RMB 180 for each recital.
