Taoying attended L'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris to study French art songs and operas in 2004. She had Ms. Anne-Marie RODDE, the famous French opera performer, as her teacher. She committed herself to the exploration and research of French art songs and absorbed a wide essence of French vocal culture during her stay in France.

The first half of the Taoying Recital will be dominated by the art songs of such famous French composers as Berlioz, Faur¨¦, Debussy, Dutilleux, and others. The songs are the consonance of poems and sounds, with the music conception, the poems and sounds coexisting. Taoying exhibits a mature and cultivated art and solid vocal training. She displays a perfect grasp of the particular conception and unique music style in French art songs. The latter half of the performance will be devoted to opera hits and chamber music works. The performances present a wide selection of themes and will be presented by young performers from Chamber Music Ensembles of Xinghai Conservatory of Music in the form of a chamber music orchestra.
