Wang Yujia was born in Beijing in 1987 and began studying piano at the age 6. She has appeared on the stages of China, Australia and Germany since she was very young.
Yujia has been a frequent prizewinner in National and International competitions.
* In 1994 she won the gold prize in the Huapu Cup National Piano Competition - Children's Group. * In 1995 she won the first prize in her age category at the First "Mido" Concours De Tiano Sino-Francais. * In 1996, she was awarded first prize in the Xinghai Cup National Piano Competition and 1999 she again won the first prize in her age group at the Second "Mido" Concours De Tiano Sino-Francais. * In 1998, Yujia won the first prize at the Veo Veo Internacional Primer Premio in Spain and the 3rd prize in Eglington International Piano Competition in Germany. *In 2006-2007 she is performing with the New York Philharmonic, the Houston Symphony, the Chicago Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, and the NHK Symphony Orchestra in Japan.
