The works of the famous photographer Lei Mengjun have been exhibited in many countries and she has won many prizes in China, Malaysia, Singapore, Belgium, France, Mexico and Venezuela. For her excellent works she was elected as one of the 100 most representative mordern artists by the artist commmission organized by Mandaria Duck.
As a Chinese photographer who was born in Malaysia, the works of Lei always reveal the oriental philosophy of "The Unity of Heaven and Man " spontaneously. Facing the trees in her picture you will have the magical feeling that the trees are alive and have desires. What is more interesting is that the gestures of people in her pictures are just like the trees and you will have the feeling that the image in those pictures will last for eternity. In her viewpoint, image is narration, and narration is the process of making what you see exactly reappear.
