Zhuang Huayue called himself the "Match Box Master" to describe the tiny size of his pictures. However, he can create infinite space in a finite frame.
His friends describe his painting style as "simple strokes conveying elegant and righteous artistic conception".
He usually uses common themes to paint. The flowers and birds in his painting look intelligent and deft and his landscape paintings contain distant artistic conception beyond the world, conveying his adamant feelings toward life.
