The Harbin Children's Art Theatre is a comprehensive and professional art performance group with the ability to perform many kinds of plays such as the Children's Play, Puppet Show and Shadow Play. The theatre always keeps its traditional features while being noted for its bold experimentation and exploration. It is good at making full use of the combinations of the Chinese traditional arts with modern art and culture. The cartoon play The Adventures of Pinocchio won the Second Place Award at the National Children's Play Competition.
