Tea Expo (Guangzhou) 2006 will open at the Continental Center, Pazhou, Guangzhou on November 23. Over 400 tea merchants will attend the expo for exhibitions and 16 rare dark-red enameled pottery masterpieces in Ming and Qing dynasties will also offer a special experience in the Zi-Sha Culture.
It is learned that the Continental Center has an area of 40,000 sq. meters that will accommodate more than 600 booths. There will be more than 10,000 tea products of nearly 20 categories at the Expo, including tea, tea sets, tea beverage, tea food, health care products of tea. According the organizer, Tea Expo (Guangzhou) 2006 will also invite 4 state-level Zisha Teapot masters from Yixing and their apprentices will make Zisha teapots on the spot under their instructions. Tickets for the Expo are available at the 7-11 Stores for RMB 5 each.
