On 2 September 2006, Liao Changyong, the famous Chinese baritone singer with the high reputation of the "No. 1 Chinese Baritone of the World" will have his recital at Guangdong Province Xinghai Concert Hall.  This is the important stop of his personal concert tour that he plans to have at more than ten Asian countries and regions this year.

As the favourite disciple of the great master Domingo, Liao Changyong has toured the world for performance, at the invitation of his great master.  Based on the performance of Liao Changyong in recent years, in 2002, New York Opera Symphony Orchestra and Kanaky Concert Hall awarded him the "Prize of Outstanding Artist", and specially held his recital at Kanaky Concert Hall.
