The Beijing-based China Children's Choir, one of the world's leading children's choirs, will perform at Shenzhen Grand Theater Aug. 25 and 26.
Under founding conductor Yang Hongnian, the choir, also known as the Children and Young Women's Chorus of the China National Symphony Orchestra, is presenting a concert with both English and Chinese songs.
This is the seventh time the choir has performed in Shenzhen.
China Children's Choir was founded in August 1983 by Yang, a professor in the conducting department of the China Central Conservatory of Music. The choir has won many international awards.
