Taiwan artist's works collected by Palace Museum
Latest Updated by 2005-06-27 08:53:07

Taiwan painting master and calligrapher Ma Shouhua's works have become part of the collection of the Palace Museum in Beijing.

The works, including two traditional Chinese landscape paintings and a calligraphy work, were donated to the Museum by the artist's son on Tuesday.

The painting master is an expert of the traditional painting skills of several dynasties since the Song (960 --1127AD). He is also a great calligrapher. Some of his art works have been collected by the Taipei Palace Museum and are popular in Europe and Americas as well.
