Zhuhai's Gongbei Checkpoint changed its opening time from 7:30AM to 7AM beginning yesterday (March 1). This will increase the capacity of custom clearance by 3%.
Gongbei Checkpoint is one of the major land gateways connecting the Chinese mainland and Macao. In order to provide more convenient services for the passengers, Macao deputies to the National People's Congress proposed to open the customs earlier and the motion was approved and implemented.
The open time now is from 7AM to midnight.
