Guangdong press spokesperson training starts

A special training course for the press spokespersons of Guangdong province started this morning (Oct. 23) in Zhongshan city.

A total of 200 people attended this course, including press spokespersons and assistants form both provincial government and municipal governments; heads of publicity departments of provincial and municipal Committees of CPC; and directors from information offices of municipal governments.

This training class is an important move to boost the province's construction of spokesmen system and strengthen the control on government press, according to Lin Xiong, Head of the Publicity Department of Guangdong provincial Committee of CPC.
