Zhaoqing, mid-west of Guangdong held a New Years concert last night (Jan 9th). The concert featured Zhaoqing musicians singing songs glorifying Zhaoqing. Zhaoqing is having a campaign to promote the city.
It is mobilizing people from various art circles, including writers, artists, photographers and musicians, to explore Zhaoqing. The hope is that the artists can produce art works that will spotlight the city's people, atmosphere, local specialties and attractions.
