Latest Updated by 2007-05-28 10:02:28

Members of the Juvenile & Youth Chinese Classical Music Orchestra perform at the Dajiale Culture Square in Futian District yesterday to mark Children's Day, which will fall on June 1.

Among the traditional Chinese musical instruments the young performers played were the erhu, pipa, bamboo flute and guzheng. The orchestra, founded in August last year by the Shenzhen Adolescents' Activities Center, is a nonprofit music group.
