>>>Click into Solomon Riot
According to Jiangmen foreign affairs and compatriot bureau yesterday (May 25), 53 people, who returned to their hometown of Jiangmen due to the riots in the Solomon Islands, have gone back to Solomon Islands to take care of their businesses.
The Chinese community on the Islands has started the rebuilding process. Most women and their children still remain in Jiangmen. As the children from the Solomon Islands can not speak Chinese, they can not go to normal Chineseschool. In addition, the international school's tuition fee is usually much higher. Efforts are being made to solve the problem by officials in Jiangmen.
