Transportation in Guangdong has slowed after thick fog and low visibility choking the provinces roads and highways for the past several days.
Jiangmen is among the most severely affected areas. The city had a barometer reading of 100%. Visibility in the area was only 200 meters.
Jiangmen traffic police have closed down several roads including the Jianghe and Xintai expressways.
In addition the visibility at the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport was down to 300 meters at 6:30 in the morning causing a number of flight delays.
