Stamped envelopes with a pattern of "Birds' Heaven ", the famous tourist attraction in Xinhui District of Jiangmen city Guangdong province, are to be issued in the country from Oct. 1st , approved by State Post Bureau.
It is said the first application of stamped envelope issuing of its kind in China.
It is face-valued of 80 fens (0.8 Yuan) and sold at 1.2 yuan.
Background Info: The Birds' Heaven in Jiangmen city Guangdong province seats at a place 7 kms from Xinhui District, where a trunk of 500-year-old banyan crowning with luxuriant foliage by a hectare land space, making it an ideal home for more than ten species of birds, they are mostly white cranes and the gray cranes. On top of the pavilion, tourist could have a fantastic and panoramic view of luxuriant banyan and flying birds.
